Location

We are right in the middle of the small hamlet of Sheviock, on the A374, six miles west of Torpoint. Coming from England, you can reach us either across the Tamar Bridge or via the Torpoint Ferry.

Via the Tamar Bridge

Stay on the A38, bypassing Plymouth, and cross over the Tamar Bridge into Cornwall. The bridge is free in this direction. Go through the tunnel and stay on the A38 for a further 7 miles until you reach Trerulefoot roundabout. Go left onto the A374, in the direction of Torpoint, and carry on for about 5 miles until you reach the village of Sheviock. Do slow down, otherwise you'll miss us! Directly opposite the phone box and bus shelter, in the centre of the village, you will see our driveway on the right.

Via the Torpoint Ferry

From the A38, as it bypasses Plymouth, follow the signs for Torpoint A374. The ferry is free in this direction. Having crossed the River Tamar into Cornwall, take the A374 out of Torpoint for about 6 miles until you reach the village of Sheviock. Do slow down, otherwise you'll miss us! Directly opposite the phone box and bus shelter, in the centre of the village, you will see our driveway on the left.

Coming via the Tamar Bridge is probably a bit quicker, even though it's a bit further. The ferry can be a bit congested between 4pm and 6 pm. But the ferry route is fun particularly if you're not in a hurry or if you are sightseeing or shopping in Plymouth. It only takes about 10 minutes but there is time to go "on deck" and take in the sights
